2009 India Missions Trip
posted on 4 February 2009 in General
On Monday, February 9th, Bro. Ron Christ and I will travel to India for our 17th missions trip. This year we will fly into Chennia (Madras) and visiting a total of four cities before returning home.
We will conduct one crusade in Chilira where we hope to see many people trust Christ as their Saviour. The majority of our time, however, will be spent with our national missionaries. Please pray that we will be able to instruct, teach, and encourage our faithful workers.
India is a troubled country. What little religious freedom it had has almost completely vanished. We will not preach in our village churches, not because of fear of danger to us, but fear of danger to our missionaries after we are gone. The Hindu laws almost everywhere outlaw religious “conversations.”
I want to thank the churches and individuals who give to make this trip possible. The country of India is such a needy country, but the Gospel is still the power of God unto salvation in any language! Pray for the people of India, pray for our trip, and pray that souls will be saved.
Your friend,
Pastor Jack Cox
